Meeting the Needs of Low Level Literacy Learners

Many questions arise when considering the needs of learners with limited or no first-language literacy. Where do you start? What does research say about best practices with these learners? How are their needs different from other adult learners? In this series you'll learn strategies and techniques for working with literacy learners in both separate and mixed literacy level classes.

Attendance Restrictions: As each session in this 3-session workshop builds on the previous ones, those who wish to attend March 3rd must also attend March 2nd. Those who wish to attend March 9th must also attend March 2nd and 3rd.

Sessions: March 2nd, 3rd, and 9th

Scheduling note: The March 3rd session is from 11:00am - 2:30pm. The March 2nd and March 9th sessions are from 10:00am - 1:00pm.

Registration will close at 5:00pm on March 1st.
